Hello! As you work your way through the website, we are hopeful most of your initial questions will be answered. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with you soon in person! Here are some FAQ that might help you on your first visit to Intentional Church! Thanks again and we can’t wait to meet you!
When is your Church Service?
We meet on Sundays @ 10:30 We recommend you arrive approximately 15 minutes early so you won’t feel rushed. The extra time will allow you to grab a free cup of Community Coffee, and if you are a parent, check your child into our nursery (birth – 4yrs) or ikids (Kindergarten – 5th grade)
How do I get to the Church?
Intentional is located between Jewella and Mansfield Rd on Meriwether Rd. It is one block from the 3132 loop.
What can I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you will be made to feel at home. Our parking lot team will greet you and point you to the entrance to the Church. Then, our greeters will be waiting and ready to give you directions and answer any questions you might have. If you are not up to conversation, we have great signage pointing you where you need to go.
As you enter the main doors, please feel free to stop by our Guest Services area to get information about upcoming events. From the lobby, you can make your way directly into the auditorium where our ushers will hand you information about our Church and a worship guide. Oh, and don’t forget to grab some coffee from our cafe’.
What are services like?
At Intentional, we tend to mix it up. You never know what to expect during our 90 minute service. From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a creative, compelling, and challenging Biblical presentation.
Lead Pastor, Rob Miskowski communicates in a way that speaks to today’s post-Christian culture. Rob delivers a passionate, straight-forward and honest gospel message focusing on how to apply biblical principles and Christ’s teachings to your daily life. The music is great and probably sounds like what is on your iTunes.
Where do I take my kids?
You’ll find a first-class program for your children from birth through 5th grade.
If your child is six months to age four, we have a wonderful nursery staff who will assist you with check in located down the left hallway when entering the main doors. For your child’s safety, we have staff trained in CPR and first aid in each of our nursery rooms.
If your kids fall into the category of Kindergarten through 5th grade, when you come in, you will want to stop by our Check In Station located to the right of the auditorium. With the help of friendly ikids assistants, you will register your child/children at the digital check-in and get your corresponding safety tag(s). Every child will have a safety tag and church profile that will label personal belongings and mark special needs of any kind from food allergies to physical or mental challenges. We are committed to providing the safest environment possible for your children. Your son or daughter has a place to belong at ikids no matter what! Ultimately, your child will experience church like never before, with the latest games, music and video created to present God’s truth in fun and innovative ways. We use Reggie Joiner’s ORANGE Curriculum. It is a holistic family approach to ministry! Check out www.whatisorange.org. They won’t want to miss a single experience and will be begging for more!
Do you have mid-week Meetings?
We currently have a midweek gathering on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm. There is a group for all ages during this hour slot. We also have small groups called Community Groups. These are groups that meet in various locations around the area where people come together with similar interests in a time of discovery and fun. Community Groups are a real key to developing relationships and getting connected.
